IAITAM President Barbara Rembiesa Platinum Special Contributor Award from ISO/IEC 19770 SAM Standard
(MMD Newswire) April 6, 2011 -- The ISO/IEC JTC1 SC7 WG 21 Working Group responsible for the 19770 group of SAM standards has recognized Barbara Rembiesa, IAITAM founder and president, as the first Platinum Special Contributor for her outstanding efforts in helping to forge cohesive global standards for software asset management (SAM).
Rembiesa contributes her time, knowledge and leadership as a member of the working group. In addition to her contributions to the standards, Rembiesa utilizes IAITAM's extensive communication and education vehicles to propagate information for the working group. She has also personally worked with the development group conveners within the WG21 Working Group to provide on-site hosting support for their meetings.
